ROZET’s latest track isn’t just a well-formed piece of experimental R&B, but the soundtrack to a dystopian short film. Glitchy beats and menacing distortion are all part of the package here, with ROZET using unconventional intervals and suspensefully bare textures to keep you both on edge and grooving. ‘RIGAMAROLE’ is built around ROZET’s experience of this year: “I was tired of feeling stuck in this repetitive loop of injustice and misinformation. I wanted to be heard and with the current state of society I know much of the world feels the exact same.” Her debut EP is an audio-visual project due to be released in 2021. -Dan Peeke
